eduroam

eduroam® – educational roaming is the free internet access service, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop. They only need to get their user name and password created on their home institutions.

In Serbia, it could be used by students, professors, lecturers, scientists, researchers and other employees in institutions-members of Serbian academic network (AMRES). Rights and duties for users and institutions which use the eduroam service are inscribed in the Rulebook of AMRES eduroam service.

This service is available to all students, professors, lecturers and other staff of our university who has digital identity (user’s name and password) assigned at the faculty and given by Serbian academic network (AMRES) and in cooperation with the University.

Currently, eduroam service is accessible to numerous scientific-research and educational institutions in over 35 European countries, as well as in other parts of the world. The map with accessible points in Serbia, as well as the map with accessible points in Europe could be checked at AMRES eduroam site: http://www.eduroam.amres.ac.rs. Due to modern standards for inscription (WPA2/AES i WPA2/TKIP), users are guaranteed the high level of protection of their private data.
