At the University of Pristina, temporarily seated in Kosovska Mitrovica, in the presence of large number of new-bred students (1486) and their parents along with ceremony of handing over the student’s transcripts, the new academic 2011/2012 year has started.

On September 16, 2011 at the Rectorate of University of Pristina at 13, the session of Dean’s Consortium was held. The Consortium was attended by deans of all 10 faculties who discussed the current situation at faculties and University itself.

By signing the protocole on cooperation between Ministry for Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia, UNESCO National Commission and company ’’L’Oréal Balkan’’ was opened the yearly scholarship competition under the name ’’Women in science’’ dedicated to young female scientists in Serbia who are involved in scientific research in the area of natural sciences.

At the extraordinary session of the Dean’s Consortium of the University of Pristina, temporarily seated in Kosovska Mitrovica held on August 1, 2011, it was made decision to end the vacation at all faculties of this University. Such act of the University was initiated for the deteriorated security situation at the north of Kosovo-Metohia province.
